Install Fiddle App

Fiddle App is distributed directly as an APK. Follow these steps to install it safely on a device running Android 7.0 or later.

Download APKAndroid 7.0+

Before you begin

  • Download only from this page or the exact address shown here.
  • Keep Android’s built-in security protections enabled.
  • Stop if the address, filename, or installer warning looks unexpected.
  • Confirm the app is named Fiddle App. Its application ID is app.fiddle.

The approved download address is https://apk.mydomain.com/fiddle-app.apk. Do not install a similarly named download from another source.

Installation steps

  1. Download the APK

    Select Download APK and wait for the file to finish downloading.

  2. Allow installation from this source

    Android may ask you to permit APK installation from your browser or file manager.

  3. Open the downloaded file

    Find it in browser downloads or your Downloads folder, then select the APK.

  4. Install and open

    Review Android’s installer screen, choose Install, then open Fiddle App.

Why Fiddle App can see installed apps

Fiddle App uses Android’s broad app visibility capability to create its installed-app catalog. This does not grant access to another app’s private files or allow Fiddle App to bypass Android’s protections.

Updating Fiddle App

Future Fiddle App APKs with the same application ID and signing key can update an existing Fiddle App installation while retaining its local data. Return to this page, download the APK again, and open it.

Earlier Activity Atlas builds use application ID com.activity.atlas. Android therefore installs Fiddle App alongside them rather than transferring their saved items or preferences. Remove an earlier build only after you no longer need its local data.

If an expected Fiddle App update is refused, stop before uninstalling and contact support. Uninstalling removes the app’s local data under normal Android behavior.

Installation help

Installation is blocked

Check whether your browser or file manager may install unknown apps. Device policy may prevent it.

The APK does not open

Try the Downloads folder. Delete and download again if the file is incomplete.

The device is incompatible

Fiddle App requires Android 7.0 or later. Contact support if that requirement is met.

Android shows an unexpected warning

Do not dismiss a warning you do not understand. Confirm the address before continuing.
